Chris helps move the items safely into the workshop. And very pleased he looks about that too!
Terry Usher, Quality and Development Manager, with Autism Together reports on a generous donation from Howdens Joinery, of stock items to our groups at Woodway Court on Thursday 1st October.
“We were first approached about the donation by John Leary, Depot Manager at Howdens Bromborough store. John let us know that Howdens would like us to accept a delivery of various kitchen items, and we of course, gratefully accepted.
Subsequently, a large quantity of kitchen unit doors, drawers and various other panels were donated. All ideal items for that makeover, to give one of our kitchens a real ‘freshen up’.
Being based in an area where there are many other businesses utilising the commercial spaces to run their businesses, it is really important to us to maintain good relationships with those who are effectively our neighbours. It’s a real bonus however, when one of these neighbours takes the time and trouble to think of our organisation, by making such a kind and thoughtful donation.
The guys at Woodway Court take delivery of the valuable items
Many thanks to John and all the team at Howdens for their very kind donation. We feel sure the items will be put to excellent use and we very much appreciate their thoughtful gesture.”
