A huge thanks to the Unilever staff who very generously gave up their time to volunteer to work at the beautiful Port Sunlight River Park
The work accomplished was amazing due to all the efforts and the enthusiasm of all thirteen volunteers.
Their tasks included building stone cairns, (these are great animal habitats and creating them has cleared many eyesores from the site); finding and erecting monoliths; sowing wild flower seeds on the bare banks to stabilise the soil; cutting back buddleia and other shrubs to maintain the view on Mersey View Walk; using the brash to create more habitat piles and lastly clearing the grass and cutting back around the lake.
We could not have managed all these tasks without your help so again, a massive thank you!
