Following a resoundingly successful first eleven months Wirral Autistic Society’s Step into Work+ programme has relocated to Tower House, in Birkenhead, allowing easier access to our range of out reach services to adults with Asperger’s Syndrome who are looking for full or part time employment.

Beverly Breen (Programme Manager) said “These new premises will allow our users to access the valuable services we can offer them to help them back into work and the better access by public transport and bigger facilities will help us deliver our vision and utilise our Big Lottery Funding to the best of our ability.”

Step into Work+ was set up with the intention of:

placing 160 adults with Asperger’s into working environments over the next 5 years
instil Confidence and Independence in our students
liaise with local employers to give them an awareness and understanding of Autism and Asperger’s.
