May has been a fantastic month for all supporters of Wirral Autistic Society.

rickWe had a great Golf Day at Bromborough on Sunday 5th, with all involved enjoying the weather and the greens! The event was one we shared with Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, Christ the King Youth Group and Rotary Club of Wirral. Final figures are still being collated but all who attended (25 teams of four participating) had a great time.

On Friday, 10th May we held our, now annual, Quiz Night at Heswall Hall and raised £2,405 for our Lifetime Appeal. Organised by Julie Ellsmoor and her loyal band of supporters, it was a great night with 26 teams participating.

Join the Push for Action Campaign

push-coverOn Tuesday 14 May 2013 we joined the launch of a new campaign to push for better support for adults with autism, Push for Action.

For far too long, adults with autism and their families have been living without the everyday support they need. Some need help to get washed and dressed, others need specialist support to find sustainable employment, and others just want to take part in their local community.

This campaign aims to end their wait. (More information on our website here).

Now is the time to end the wait. Please lend you support by filling in a simple form and Join Push for Action.
