Santa is off again on his annual Heswall pub crawl and he’s hoping to raise a record sum for local charities.

Over the past nine years Santa, also know as Adam Kenrick, has raised thousands of pounds and this year Wirral Autistic Society’s Lifetime Appeal and Wirral MIND will be benefiting from the fun event.

Since November 22 anyone visiting the Dee View Inn, The Ravenscroft Suede Bar, Las Cabos or the Clegg Arms has been able to buy an oficial Santa Pub Crawl wrist band for £5 with all the money going to the charities.

Long-time supporter of the Wirral Autistic Society, Adam Kenrick, said: “On Friday, December 23, a group of Santas and Mrs Santas will hit the streets with festive joy armed with collecting buckets to boost our total. Just four of us started the Christmas pub crawl nine years ago and his has steadily grown. We hope to top the total of £2,500 raised last year.”
