The Performing Arts team put on a fantastic production at The Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight to celebrate Autism Awareness Day. It started with a medley of popular songs from The Community Choir group, followed by a series of dances by the Community Dance group. Then we were treated to a marvellous short play by the Drama group, with excellent performances and an emotional script about someone growing up with Autism. There was a short interval followed by a dazzling dance to Katy Perry’s ‘Fire Work’ from the Community Dance Group. Then the Beathovens took to the stage to finish off the evening with some good old rock and roll, including a mass stage invasion by all the performers and staff of the evening. All together a fitting end to a great evening…well done to everyone involved!
