Great news, we’re serving snacks and drinks from our visitor centre at Port Sunlight River Park again!

Our volunteer group, led by Activity Manager Neil Murphy, have opened a kiosk at our River Park Heritage Centre from where they can offer hot and cold drinks and a choice of snacks and goodies to people visiting the site.

Through the pandemic we had to shut our Heritage Cafe entirely. Recently, the people we support who work at the River Park have been completing training in Food Hygiene and Manual Handling.

Congratulations to Steven, Jake and Chris for completing their training and for their excellent work manning the kiosk. Well done also to Liam and Danny, who are currently learning the ropes at the kiosk too. And thanks to our volunteer Linda Tomlinson who is working alongside the guys in the kiosk kitchen.

They’re currently only able to accept card payments, and opening hours are strictly weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 10am until 3pm.

The kiosk is now fully up and running, so please do head to the River Park soon, pop over, say hello and grab something tasty from the guys next time you’re in the area.

We recently visited the guys with our camera and had a chat about how they were getting on. So sit back, watch our video and meet the team behind the Port Sunlight River Park Kiosk…
