Service Users with Alison McGovern, MP for Wirral South.

Wirral Autistic Society welcomed Alison McGovern, Labour M.P. for Wirral South, at the Wirral Centre for Autism where she was entertained by a  presentation of animations and illustrations by the Community and Vocational Service (CVS) and then a short carol service, including Jingle Bells, by our performing arts class.

Later the M.P., who sits on the Steering Committee regarding the Port Sunlight River Park, visited Bromborough Pool Garden Centre, where she was presented with a pot of winter pansies by service user Ken Scott. She also discussed the work of our Children and Family Service, a subject that she was very knowledgeable on and hugely supportive of the work that we do, with the Society’s Chief Executive, Robin Bush.
