A team of four cyclists from Wirral Autistic Society has raised more than £2,500 on a 1,000 mile unsupported ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats. They carried all their own equipment on the two week challenge.

They spent a year training and planning their marathon trip which was the idea of Neil Murphy after his eight-year-old neice had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

All the funds are being split between CHICS, Children with Cancer Support Group and the Wirral Autistic Society.
