On Thursday 18th July Heswall Hall was the venue for our musical production “Songs from the Shows” featuring The Great Sutton Male Voice Choir, mezzo-soprano Vicky Aindow and Wirral Autistic Society’s own Make Waves Choir.
The Great Sutton Male Voice Choir, led by Musical Director, Georgina West, was first formed in 1947 and has won many awards for their performances. They are widely travelled and has performed all over the country and abroad in the Netherlands and Finland.
Mezzo-Soprano Victoria has just finished a degree at Birmingham Conservatoire studying vocal and operatic studies under Louise Crane. Prior to entering the college she competed in and won many singing prizes in her home city of Liverpool.
Around 120 people attended and thoroughly enjoyed a great night of old favourites, despite the heat, raising £500 for our Lifetime Appeal.
