There is a wide range of farmyard duck breeds, with Aylesbury, Muscovy and Pekin some of the more common. Domestic ducks can live to age 15 or more, but most live between five and 10 years.

On our farm we have Indian runner ducks. They are fascinating birds as they stand upright like penguins and, rather than waddling, they run. It’s fun to watch them tearing around our field. These runner ducks also do not fly, making them perfect for the farm.

Your sponsorship fee will go towards Autism Together Farm’s costs for feeding and caring for the animals.
