Chickens are very recognisable farmyard birds. In fact they were domesticated from jungle fowl some 8,000 years ago, and prized for their meat and eggs ever since.

Some of our chickens are booted bantams, known for having feathers around their feet! They look very striking, but a little awkward when they walk. This poultry breed tends to live up to around 10 years, and we love to see them around the farm.

Your sponsorship fee will go towards Autism Together Farm’s costs for feeding and caring for the animals.
