Supported by our friends at BBC Children in Need these sessions are aimed at helping siblings develop an understanding of autism.
Sibling group
This fortnightly group is an interactive, fun session for siblings of children with autism.
The group provides:
- A chance for some respite
- Raises awareness of autism
- Develop coping strategies
- Helps siblings to develop an understanding of their sibling
When: Tuesday (fortnightly)
Time: 5.30 – 7.00pm
Age range: 8 -13yrs

1-2-1 Sibling support
This service helps:
- Siblings get access to information and support
- Raise awareness of autism
- To provide strategies that can help
When: Tuesdays (weekly)
Time: 3.45 – 5.15 pm
Age range: 6 – 18 yrs

Social and communication group
This fortnightly group is for children with autism who would benefit from a quiet environment.
Activities available include:
- Sensory area
- IT games (with Wii, Wii-u, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and iPad)
- Board games
- Craft activities
When: Tuesdays (fortnightly)
Time: 5.30 – 7.30 pm
Age range: 8 – 13 yrs
