Bookings are now open for our popular Autism Friendly Christmas Grotto!
Come along and meet Father Christmas and his elves in a relaxed and autism-friendly setting, within our Bromborough Pool Cafe.
This year we have more dates and times available to best suit our guests, with bookings available on December 7th, 8th (sold out), 10th, 11th, 15th and 19th!
At Autism Together’s Grotto, adults and children alike are welcome to book in to meet Santa, with all paying guests receiving a small toy as a present from him.
Father Christmas and his elves have all received autism-specific training and have experience working with autistic people. Our bookings give you a 15-minute slot, so you can enjoy your time with Father Christmas to talk, sing, dance, and take your own photographs.
Parents and carers are welcome to attend our Grotto for FREE – we only require you to book and pay (£8 per person) for each child or adult that would like to meet Santa and receive a gift.
In our experience, 15-minutes is the right amount of time to help reduce queuing and any related anxiety, making time spent at our grotto as stress-free as possible. Each 15-minute booking slot is per family/group and can accommodate up to 4 children/adults wanting gifts.
Simply select the date and time you would like to visit, and then choose how many people would like to receive a present from Santa. Remember, parents and carers can come along for free, so you do not need to purchase a ticket for them.
Our Grotto is based inside, accessed via an outside walkway, and guests are welcome to bring along festive drawings or present lists for Father Christmas if they like!
During your visit, our Cafe will be open for refreshments; so you are welcome to stay and enjoy drinks and food afterwards. All money raised from the Grotto will go back into our charity to help fund equipment and resources to broaden experiences and opportunities for the people we support.
