We’ve recently started recruitment for a challenging and rewarding new job opportunity.
Autism Together is looking for experienced support staff to work as part of a new team, providing full-time, person-centred support to an individual with complex needs.
The successful applicants will be highly-motivated and resilient with prior knowledge and understanding of supporting someone with autism and managing challenging behaviours.
Based in Bromborough, New Ferry and Great Sutton, the role involves working as part of a core team of staff on a 2:1 basis, supporting one individual with complex autism, challenging behaviours and learning disabilities.
This will include both community-based activities and in-house tasks. Participation in active duties such as walking and swimming will be required.
The salary is £10.96 per hour (£20,001 per annum) – AT scale point 22.
The job is minimum 35 hrs p/wk, with daytime shifts, evening shifts and early shifts. This may increase to 42 hrs p/wk as hours of support increase.
This is a fixed-term role (initially 6-months). Successful applicants will be guaranteed a support worker position after this time, but on a standard rate of pay.
