Enjoy your Christmas with Autism Together

The mince pies and tinsel season is almost upon us and that means a jam-packed calendar of seasonal events is heading your way…

Autism-Friendly Grotto

Book Now

December sees the return of Autism Together’s ever-popular Santa’s Grotto.

Come along and meet Father Christmas and his elves as they visit our autism-friendly grotto on Saturday and Sunday, 7th and 8th of December.

Based within our Garden Centre at Bromborough Pool Village, kids and adults alike are welcome to book in from today to visit the grotto.

The price is £5.50 per guest, with accompanying parents or carers able to attend for free. Each paying visitor will also receive a gift from Santa.

Father Christmas and all his elves have received training in autism-understanding and your visit to the grotto is pre-booked to allow a 15-minute time slot for you to meet Santa, helping to reduce queueing and ease anxiety. The whole family is welcome to attend and you are free to take your own photographs too.

Remember, pre-booking is essential

Christmas Concert

Book Now

Our third Christmas treat is a refined evening of beautiful seasonal sounds as we host a Christmas Concert to remember.

The event at Inglewood Manor, an elegant Edwardian country house in South Wirral, offers music to suit all tastes and really get you into the Christmas mood.

Headlining the concert on Wednesday, December 11th, are The Luminelles, a choir featuring singers from Birkenhead High School Academy who have performed recently at Liverpool’s Echo Arena for BBC Worldwide and also at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral to a sell-out audience.

They will be supported by:

The Riversign Choir – a non-profit group of deaf and hearing people, expressing songs through a mixture of British Sign Language, dance and drama.

Tenessee Waltz – a country music duo, playing a mixture of covers and original songs.

Tickets are £16, which includes mince pies and a glass of warming mulled wine.
