Autism Together are looking for new trustees

The Board of Trustees currently are looking to replace recently retired trustees.

Autism Together is one of Britain’s leading service providers for people with autism.  Founded over 50 years ago, the charity now has over 350 service users and supports over 400 families.  Key services include Residential, Supported Living and Respite as well as extensive week-day community and vocational activities.  We also offer a Family Support and Outreach Service.  This is a complex and exciting organisation with an annual turnover of over £21million and a substantial property portfolio.

The Board of Trustees currently has 11 voluntary members with provision for a maximum of 15, so we are looking to replace a number of recently retired trustees.  Applicants will need the ability to contribute significantly to the strategic planning and governance of the charity and considerable skills or experience in either Autism/Health; Marketing & Fundraising or IT/Cyber Security,to enhance the skill set of existing Board members.

Associated with these core skills will be Training, Quality Assurance, Health & Safety and Governance, including an ability to conform to our Code of Conduct.
