Saturday, 1st June saw over 50 runners take part in Gung-Ho for team Autism Together; based at Chester Racecourse this involved a 5k run with inflatable obstacles to power through; including the start me up slide, day tripper, the danger zone and the dreaded vertical wall! We all had to work together to encourage each other to keep running, and even helping them with a gentle push or pull. The atmosphere on the day was electric and many other runners were enquiring about joining our team next year.

The day was a huge success and we all ended up in a large pit of foam to celebrate – the fantastic runners have raised around £4,000 between them for our Future 50 appeal and walked away proud with their limited edition Autism Together medals.

Who’s ready for Gung Ho 2020!!
